Dr. Cummings received his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He completed his internship in general surgery and his orthopedic surgery residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Although he treats most orthopedic injuries and disorders, he specializes in advanced techniques of joint replacement.

Dr. Cummings’ interest in orthopedics began rather early in association with his being a frequent consumer of orthopedic care in high school and college due to sports related injuries. However, he did not immediately enter medical training upon completion of college. He spent five years teaching fourth and fifth grade in an underprivileged area in Southern California.

Dr. Cummings and his wife, Kandice, have three children. His interests include spending time with his family, fly fishing, 49er football, and photography.

Mr. Ott received his physician assistant certificate from the Stanford University School of Medicine. He started his interest in medicine, first as Paramedic, working in most of our northstate communities. After years as a medic, he decided to move on, entering the Primary Care Associate Program at Stanford.

Following his training at Stanford, he also chose to do a post-graduate residency in Orthopedic Surgery, with Arrowhead Orthopedics in Redlands, CA. He spent several years directing this training program before returning to the northstate to continue his career. He joined Valley Ridge Orthopedic Center in 2010.

Mr. Ott and his wife, Erica, have 3 daughters and are natives to the northstate. Mr. Ott is active in activities with local theater groups, softball, and other outdoor activities.
